As many of you know, I first realized my mother, Linda Sue Saxton, had Alzheimer's disease 13 years ago the day after Thanksgiving and on what felt like the longest day of my life. She was just 54 years old.
(Please note that I am doing this event technically the day after the National Event because I'm just like that :-)

Fitness Success Teammates:
Teammates will be asked to raise a minimum of $100 for Alzheimer's. If you do this as a family, the family would raise the $100. Need ideas of how to get the kids involved, email me. All teammates will get a cool custom tech t-shirt!
Ways to Be In Motion on June 22nd:
☺ Come to the studio to be in motion by jumping rope, playing games, hula hooping, etc... there will be lots to choose from, just come by!!!
☺ Join the "group" starts for your swim, bike or walk/run to make some new friends and have company for your time in motion
☺ Wait for me!!! You will be able to track me that day (or we can text you where I am) and you can jump in on one of my many loops leaving from the studio
General schedule for teammates/group starts:
6:30 am - Swim start Crystal Lake in Gray (see course map)
8:00am - Bike start from studio; bike any or all loops if you'd like; refuel from the studio and use the bathrooms (see course maps)
9:00 am - Walk/Run start from studio (see course maps)
Theresa's Ironman schedule (loose times of when I will be refueling at the studio)
6:30 am Crystal Lake swim; bike back to Yarmouth (23+miles)
9:00 - 10:00 am refuel at FS for Freeport - Brunswick loop - 30 miles
11:00 - 12:00 pm refuel at FS for Falmouth loop - 15 miles
12:00 - 1:00 pm refuel at FS for 2nd Freeport - Brunswick loop - 30 miles
2:00 - 3:00 refuel at FS to do last bike loop through Falmouth - 15 miles
3:00 - 4:00 change and refuel for marathon portion of IM; 13.1 miles
Marathon - however long it takes
7:30 celebration to start at the studio; I hope to be in between 8:30 - 9:30
Logistics Note: (subject to change)
This is NOT a RACE; it's an EVENT. It is not supported in a traditional sense.
Bathrooms and transitions will be at Fitness Success (94 Main St, Yarmouth).
There are also bathrooms and a port-o-potty at Twin Brooks on the run course.
There are no water stops or bike bottle exchanges on the course at this time. Please be prepared to carry enough for your ride. Refueling needs and change of clothes will be at the studio.
